Andy has started his professional baseball career very strong. Here are his up to date stats as he is pitching for the GCL Marlins in a middle relief role. He was briefly promoted to the Marlins A ball team in the South Atlantic League.
For the Season:
Total - 15 - innings
11 - hits
15 - K's
4 - BB's
ERA - 0.60
Not bad for a guy that pitched at Cedar Valley College in 2005, Central Arkansas in 2006, and of course for my Pirates in the DABA in the summer of 2005. Not exactly high profile places like Navarro, any Big 12 school and the TCL.
My point, if you are good, THEY will find you! One summer he is pitching in the DABA, the next he is pitching in the Gulf Coast Rookie League.
