Any info on Andy Lopez Baseball Camp? Received a letter stating it is not a showcase but there will be 3 different camps with 100 players in each. Thanks

Yes, it is for four days, three different weeks.
Son has attended twice. Think the best advice is what I've read on other threads...unless this is a top choice school for your son.....save your money...for good showcases.....
We have never seen any scouts in attendance at the UofA camps....no other college coaches, maybe JuCo....but mostly the UofA staff and local high school coaches..... at $500.00...it is a great revenue source for the school's baseball program.....at the older level...there is little instruction....just games.....and....as we discovered last year....the coaches had already identified players of interest...before the camp even started....and those players received most of their attention....they were grouped together and played together......good luck.

arizonared is right on....save your $$ unless Lopez or his staff has identified you as a possible future signee and you are a Junior...he has his players selected for '05.
