Who has the potential to go the furthest this year in Anne Arundel County high school baseball?

I like Arundel the most...they've got some players...I expect Severna Park to be down a little bit and believe it or not North County has some talent...what they do with it? Well, that I don't know! Broadneck has got some players as well...but I like Arundel!
Did Severna Park lose alot or just Crum?
Severna Park lost a few talented seniors such as Harrison Taylor, who went to play D3 at Hopkins. Crum was a great asset to their team as well. I'm not sure of others they have lost. I'm sure Broadneck will have a good team this year losing only one senior starter, but does anyone know of any good players from there? Arundel has a lot of talent as well.
Broadneck-Nick Espinosa...solid talent with nice upside...

Crum & Taylor from SP are big losses...speaking of Crum he went to Virginia Tech and isn't on the roster? Does anyone know how to get a hold of him?

I believe Crum walked on at VT... I'm not sure. If you talk to Jim McCandles (spelling) im sure you can get a hold of Crum. Espinosa is a great catcher for Broadneck from what I hear. I would like to see Broadneck produce something this year.
I think Crum still goes to tech.Hes on the house team I beleive.

The club team? Many DI's have club teams...they basically practice against each other and are not held to any NCAA regulation from what I understand. I just hate seeing talent get wasted by going somewhere to play that's out of their league! Unfortunately, It happens often!

Club team is correct.My mistake.Don't know why he isn't on the regular roster.
The club team is not an NCAA sport. What that means is he isn't on the squad and he isn't using up eligibility. The club team is "quasi orginized" depending on the institution. Most often if the coach doesn't have you on the roster, than chances of you making the varsity squad are pretty slim! Unfortunate, but again I see this happend regularly when kids try to play above their level. Every HS player thinks he's a DI athlete and less than 10% are!
From what I have observed, the better College clubs teams can kick local D3 teams butt!
For many, Broadneck HS has openings for an emergency Varsity Coach!

Broadneck has filled it's immediate need with Jeff Herrick (long time Broadeck football coach) and others.
Coach not forced out but stepped down to enusre best possible opportunity for team.

In some situations you might be right about the club team over some DIII's...but guess what, they don't play...your not recognized as a NCAA athlete, and you don't compete at a premium level regardless of what level your at. Unless the coach uses it as a stepping stone (which some do) then I can only think that there are WAY TOO MANY quality players who just may not fit that program or aren't "acc talent" just sitting there! I don't know anybody who has a life long dream to go play club ball at some big school? Most want to play at FSU, Miami whatever, but once they realize that is not attainable, the next natural goal is to play college ball somewhere. If your priorities are to play college ball, I just can't see being happy on a club team, period.
