Another Bat Gone!
It seems each year, there are thousands spent,
We try this and that, models came and went,
Those bats are too hot, of the years past,
The balls come off, too hard and too fast,
They changed them, made safer; we bought into the lot,
We had to buy more; the other ones are too hot,
We paid the price, for the fix was done,
But wait I see, a Cat 5 has gone?
The bats appear, to gain power and pop,
So they decided that this, is a bat they must drop,
Now thousands of bats, must be returned,
And parents are nerved, that they again will get burned,
Just as they thought, the press makes known,
Another bat gone, please leave them alone,
Another bat gone, we anticipate to hear,
There’s too much confusion, more bats gone that we fear,
While another bat gone, waits to be heard,
Can’t we try wood, someone put in a word?
Another bat gone, how many more this year,
Another bat gone, words we parents still fear.
