Just wanted to update you all. Wendy is home from the hospital. They determined that it was a major stroke in the back of the brain. She was supposed to stay at a rehab hospital for about a month but she was to onery for that . But when I was talking to her husband today, they are pretty sure the stroke was caused by some diet pills. I know it seems like they can be fairly harmless but just a warning out there. I never thought I'd know someone that suffered from those kinds of side effects. Wow!!

Didn't see the original post (and update) 'til now. Praying for a quick and complete recovery for this beloved mom.

BBFam, Thankful to hear your friend improved. May she continue to experience blessings as she continues recovery and rehab at home.

I truely look forward to hearing updates,..good or bad. Just good to know that in this case,..it looks like things will get better! Please be sure to tell your mom friend that strangers from a national baseball family are still wishing her well!
