Tonight I finalized my commitment to attend Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. It has been a long and stressful process, and I feel extremely excited and proud for my result. If my arm fell off in tomorrow's game, I'd be glad I chose the school that I did. Assuming it won't, I can't wait to be a Lynx!

Also, can't thank TRHit enough for opening this door for me because without him I may have been going to a very different place. Playing with him was a blast and now getting to attend Rhodes is a huge payoff.

Another congratulations to you JPontiac.
You will be able to get a terrific top education that will certainly challenge you in the classroom every step of the way and leave you well prepared when you graduate.
You will compete with a Coach who has done a terrific job in rebuilding that program from the bottom...which may have been on a weekend in April in 2004.
You will be in a wonderful baseball conference with top players, top teams, top coaches and wonderful competition/sportsmanship.
Finally, you get access to some of the very best barbeque anywhere.
In 2004, there was a team dinner catered by Corky's. They must have eaten close to 70 lbs. of ribs. Best dry rub ever.
Never thought of ribs as a great pre-game meal but the bats were on fire for two days!
Congratulations. You have to be a great student and terrific player at Rhodes. You have earned a nice reward.
