On Monday, BA had projected the top 50 freshman for 2006. Never easy to transition from high school to college baseball and even more difficult when the baseball is at a top DI.
DB2BMom's son is right there. Ranked #14 and projected as a weekend start for the "Dirtbags."

Please tell Vance I said Congratulations! Getting to watch him the last few years have been great, I hope I get to see him some more in the coming years.

For all of you from outside of DB2B's and my home area, you can't imagine what a fit her son gave my summer team the last few years. We played some outstanding games with Vance pitching against us. I don't think we ever beat his team one single time when he was pitching. He is a wonderful young man with a very bright future ahead of him.

Go get 'em Vance!
