Ohio State senior left-hander and staff ace Dan DeLucia will miss the rest of the baseball season after surgery today on his pitching elbow, coach Bob Todd said. The surgery was performed in Alabama by renowned surgeon James Andrews.
DeLuica, a Watterson graduate, made three starts this season, going 2-0 with a 3.18 ERA in 17 innings. He was pulled after three innings in his last start, March 17 against Bucknell.
DeLucia was a first-team all-Big Ten selection last season.
He went 10-2, leading the Big Ten in wins and INNINGS PITCHED
