I have gotten some questions regarding recruiting from some people who may feel uncomfortable asking here. Please feel free to pm or email and I will answer them here, IMO, for all to read.

One question was about returning phone calls.

If your son should miss a call from a coach and he has not requested a call back at this time, just sit tight, he will call back. They are allowed one phone call to make to you per week and usually they want to make sure it's a quality call and not phone tag.
During the recruiting weeks, DK was out of town and we were working so we left a contact # for DK on our voicemail.

Another question was about verbal committment so early over the phone.
This is up to your son to decide. If he has visited the school, met the coaches and likes what he has seen, and he feels it is the right fit, by all means go ahead, but never feel pressured into a commitment so early. If they REALLY want you, they will wait, if they REALLY don't they will move on.

Remember, this period is essentially a getting to know you period, for all.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer questions for all of us 08 (and later) parents. Great source of info that should be lots of help. It is the experienced posters that make this site so GREAT. It continues to amaze me how generous of time and info you all are. Keep up the good work, we really appreciate it.
