Any examples of college coaches salaries?

Money is good.

I suppose it depends on what the attendance is at some of these D1 parks. Most of the coaches in the SEC should be making a TON of money.

Too, many of them get paid by the University...a reasonable amount so the Chem profs wouldn't jump out of their bunsen burners;
get additional income from their summer and holiday "camps"; and, lastly, they get money from those nifty "foundations"/"associations" set up by the alumni to take care of coaches who need to "win at all costs" for Old Main.

there are also the equipment endorsements which can be big $$ for using certain shoes, bats, gloves & uniforms, and having the corporate logo on their hats & uniforms

well - sometimes WE get a bit touchy, sometimes WE kinda forget what we said recently, and WE might jump all over njbb and make him feel supid for asking about info WE were only too eager to provide only days ago

Actually I thought it was a valid question as I've wondered the same thing. Besides, unless njbbdad edited his original post, he isn't asking about specific coaches, but average salaries in general.

Auggie's making 600K at UT - I saw it in the paper recently when he had discussions with the D-Backs. Dodds said they are going to give him an extension and raise to keep him.

Coaches salaries are no secret at all and they don't try to keep them as such.

Both articles from publications. No secrets.You just need to know where to look. Also, they receive bonus' for wins over a certain amount and winning conference tournaments and regionals, etc.

I was just asking out of curiosity and not about a specific individual. I had recently read about Coach Stoops from OU and most people know what Coach K gets. I just wanted to understand what baseball coaches make in relation to their peers. So if you have no further input get off your high horse and relax. Afterall I didn't come on here asking what showcase providers make and how much they actually report....and it's SAMBUCA...get just one thing right
