Any Tucker Head Coach Position News? - thoughts?

I didn't even know Fletcher wasn't there any longer. I guess that does make some folks on here happy. As to who they will hire, I have no clue.

There were a couple of posters here who were very big on Tucker this spring. I don't recall them being upset about the coach, though I guess I don't remember them particularly praising him either.

Why did he leave? Seems like they were coming off a successful year, best in a while in fact.

There was one thread (and maybe even only one poster) where there was talk of some guys not liking Fletcher. It was pretty cowardly, and besides I meant that more tongue in cheek than anything. I thought he did a pretty good job there. I wonder if he moved on somewhere else or just isn't coaching high school at all? Baseball loses so many good coaches who simply don't want to put up with the BS that goes with it (this is more of a general statement than any statement to the specifics of Fletcher's situation).

Lord knows you have to love it, because there's certainly no money to be made.

Coach Fletcher decided to move from Tucker to Godwin for professional reason not related to baseball.

Purely a guess ... Meade Langhorne. Has been coaching at Maggie Walker. Stepson, Jake Austin, will be senior catcher at JRT. Meade wanted the Freeman job when they hired Tag Montague. No clue if the Tucker admin would hire him, but I bet he has his name in the mix.

Might be a good fit....I know MW had a few games where they were surprisingly competitive with some schools this year where you normally expect an "unpleasant outcome". Of course the variable there is always how some of the better teams approach playing the city schools (MW included even though I know it's not a true city school).
