Just wondering if we have any UConn Huskie fans here on HSBBW? Any parents of current Huskies? Or just fans of underdogs who might be rooting rooting for the Huskies? Wow they are on a great run.
Game time noon for Big East Championship, vs Notre Dame. How sweet it would be to win this, as their last Big East tourny. They were the 8th seed, and have had a great run this week.
(For me its lots of fun to be following my son's 'soon-to-be' collegiate team, while finishing out the HS games.... He is on the bump today, for his HS conference's championship game. They won it last year so we are hoping for back to back FCIAC rings!)
We've had an exciting baseball run these past 5 - 6 games. some of the best HS baseball I've seen, by all teams.Great cap to their senior year.
Great weekend for baseball, and to honor our service men and women. I am hoping for two great "W"s today, then on to States (and UCONN to super regionals) next!
