I am the 2nd String catcher for the Lockport Porters and I am looking for any summer baseball team in the mid-west I can PLAY for.

I know who you are lthsheavyhitter ,I belive you led the soph team last year in HR. Too bad your behind the Best Hitting catcher in the state

I heard that all Lockport players have to stay together and play with the team that Coach Hall is putting together for the summer.

Yes, lockport does have a summer team, but Iam not getting any time now so how am i going to get better sitting in the bull pen all summer.
TARatco, It is true. Our Upper Deck team is losing 3 excellent players, Mitidiero, Blaskovitz and Fagan. It is "mandatory" that they play for Lockport for the summer, and even do tournaments. No outside teams. Mr. Hall may forget where his outstanding team got its basics from. Its a good thing that he allowed these kids to play on another summer team when they were in grade school. IMHO,,,don't bite the feeder programs hands that feed you!

JIM Hall is Retiring after the '05 (the bubble) grad.
Rumour has it soph coach Stanicek is heir to the throne.
I heard that Stanicek left HF last year with this position in mind. My guess is that has been the plan for some time. Stanicek was very successful at HF, I'm sure he'll do well.
