I got this today in my email. Since it's being discussed, I figured I'd share the details with everyone.

Dear Coaches,

This e-mail is to let you know that we will again be holding the Be The Best You Are Baseball Coaches Clinic. It will be our 36th year. The clinic will be host to some of the best speakers available, who will be talking on many topics of interest to all levels of coaches. The dates for the clinic are January 15 – 17, 2009, and the clinic will again be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill, NJ.

We are very excited about our line-up of speakers. There are a lot of new faces this year including Kevin Long (NY Yankees Hitting Coach), Derek Johnson (Pitching Coach - Vanderbuilt Univ), Mark Johnson (Sam Houston State), Rod Delmonico (Florida State), and John Cedarburg (Colorado Rockies Scout – Catching). Pat McMahon (NY Yankees) and one of our favorites will return to talk on pitching. There will be a staff clinic featuring the new staff (head coach -John Cohen) at Mississippi State.

We will also be welcoming two outstanding high school coaches: Mike Sheppard Jr of Seton Hall Prep and Greg Butler of Don Bosco Prep. It was under the coaching of Mike Sheppard Jr., that the 2007 team was ranked #1 in the nation by USA Today, Collegiate Baseball magazine and Rise magazine. This past year Don Bosco Prep concluded a 33-0 season, the first time since 1950 that a team from Bergen County ended with a perfect record.

If you want to look at the topics these speakers will address, please go to our website at:
We will be happy to provide you with a brochure upon request (just let us know if you are a baseball or a softball coach and provide us with a mailing address).

And if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
