Has anyone heard of Anthony Gwynn Jr? Hes the son of Tony Gwynn. This site http://www.kpeg.com has some interesting information on him.

He's been a very well know prospect for quite a few years now. Some of that is pure name recognition but a good deal of it is the fact that the kid can really play!
He's currently in MLB camp with the Brewers and has been swinging the bat pretty well this spring. He's more of a defense and speed tools type kid but with his pedigree you know he's going to hit...he's started to show some signs of it this spring.
I saw an interview with him Saturday as part of the local Brewers broadcast and he sounds exactly like his Dad...voice, phrasing, everything. If you weren't watching video you'd swear it was Sr. himself.
Seems like a great kid...I think he'll eventually be an impact player in the bigs...I'm glad he's a Brewer.

I saw Anthony Gwynn play in college many moons ago. He played at San Diego State before his dad was there.

I saw him play his freshan year in 2001 (5 years ago). To me that was many moons ago. 1825 moons to be exact.
