Anyone here participate in an ECTB tournament before?

I am looking for a 15 under tournament for my Jr. Legion team from PA, I looked at the ECTB tournaments (as suggested on this site) offered in PA and may be interested, but I was wondering if anyone ever participated in one of the tourneys? Is it worth getting into? Most are 500 to 600 hundred per tournament then another 5-6 hundred if you advance to the nationals, is the competition level worth the $1200? Hopefully it is. Any info/help would be appreciated. Thanks.

We played an ECTB tournament last March (13U) as a warm up for the season. It was a joint ECTB/AAU tournament. It was our first time on the field for the season, being from New England, we ended up 3-1. The competition was pretty good, some decent teams, mostly Mid-Atlantic teams. Other than that no real experience with ECTB, but they seemed to have their act together as far as running the tournament went. Efficient and the tournament ran well.
