Appalachian Athletic Conference - tight race

Several Tennessee schools are involved in a neck and neck race to the finish. 3 losses separate 1st from 6th.

Milligan 16-5
Union (KY) 16-6
Tennessee Wesleyan 16-6
Montreat (NC) 17-8
Brevard (NC) 14-7
King 14-8

Milligan and TWC are squaring off this weekend. Montreat and Union play this weekend. Milligan plays Union next weekend. TWC has Brevard next weekend. King has 5 winable games remaining if the weather permits. Montreat finishes their conference slate this weekend. Cancellations due to weather could be huge for King, Brevard, and Montreat as they need wins.

Absolutely unbelievable. I think everyone kept thinking the weather would improve as the weekend progressed. We awoke Sunday morning and looked outside to see snow accumulating on the cars down in Johnson City.

A few miles south and west and there'd been no problem. I believe a number of conference series were cancelled.

Hopefully next weekend is a little better.
