Are coaches in their office at all during the summer or do they wait until school starts?? Is it the same for all levels of ball? (d1 d2 juco)?

For most coaches all levels, their job is 12 months, if not 24/7. Some head coaches do not leave their kingdom, as they pay others to go all over the country to find them players.
Some HC stay back and run camps, as this is much needed revenue for their program.
I would suggest email if you can find an address.

None of the D1 D3 coaches that recruited my son were in their offices in the summer unless they were holding a camp. Typcially, the recruiting coaches were out looking at talent, and travelling quite a bit. The best way we found to reach them was cell phone and mail. If they didn't answer your call, typically they were on the other line talking to another recruit. Leave a message and tell them you'll call them back at a specified time. Best of luck!
