Are there any small to mid=level college baseball programs on the rise in Kansas?

KU is not small, but is on the rise under the guidance of Rich Price.
You might want to check out Benedictine, Park Univ. and William Jewell. This past summer we encountered lots of players looking at these schools and the parents were impressed. A player from our HS last year chose Truman State and is pleased. I can't vouch for any of these schools first-hand, but have heard good things from other parents. Good luck!

Drury College in Springfield Mo. is on the rise as much as you can be. It created a D-2 program this year from scratch. Play in a pretty good conference, too.
There's TONS of college baseball in Kansas. The guys that play out here don't have to spend much time on a bus because there are so many schools to choose from.
D2 List would look like this: Emporia State, Ft. hays, Washburn, Pittsburg State (all good places for a guy to play... they are solid)
D3: Still lots of choices: Newman, Benedictine, Bethany College, Baker Univ. are probably the top 3-4 right now... but the Kansas Conference (google it) has 5 or 6 other schools that play and there might be 3 or 4 indy's out there I've missed. It's a great place to come and play college ball. I did and I have tremendous memories of those days. there's also a bunch of jucos out here too... shoot you can't swing a dead cat out here without hitting a college coach swinging a fungo!

Most of those small ones in Kansas are NAIA... I just used the term D3 to be generic... I should have use the appropriate terminology.
yea, i dont know about all of them. i understand the term "D-3" to be generic, but theres a big difference in that NAIA offers athletic scholarships.
