Does anyone know how one will find out if you have made the Area Code team? I heard the results are not announced until mid July. Is this true? Do they tell you one way or the other? Any help would be appreciated.

If you were at one of the tryouts in Wa.you will be notified by the Seattle scout if you made the team. There won't be a public announcement.
Do they notify you if you don't make the team?
I know of several kids notified today of their making the team. You should probably know by the end of the day whether your son made it or not.

From our experience, the cuts are made immediately after the try-outs.
They told the players to stick around for about 1/2 - 1 hour after the try-outs while the scouts went over their notes. Then they gathered the players together out on the field and announced the names of the players who made the team.
This was our experience in California (Milwaukee Brewers) but I can't speak for the other Area Code teams.
Student Sports Baseball who now runs the Area Code games has a website where they also report on the try-outs and probably will post the final rosters for all of the teams.
