Any info to share? Son was contacted, set up an official visit. He is very excited. Everything I have seem seems very legit.

Wish I had more insight to offer. Good luck.
Not sure if you are still looking for info but I can provide some info. UAM is a decent school, but the problem is that Monticello isn't much of a town and there isn't much close. If you are coming from a small town, it might be fine, but if you are coming from a larger city it will be a culture shock. Along those same levels of school, take a look at UA-Ft Smith, Ark Tech, and Henderson St. Central Arkansas would be a step up from there but it is a college town with nice facilities and a great coach. Best of luck to your son.

d-mac,
Haven't kept up, but do Hendrix and Ouachita baptist still have good programs?

I don't keep up with them much. I think OBU is still solid, but Hendrix is pretty mediocre

Not knowing anything about Hendrix I perused their website. They do offer science degrees such as Math and Computer Science which could possibly earn you a decent salary coming out of college. Plus if you are an above average player you would probably see lots of playing time. Another positive is that it is within a 3 hr drive of my house. lol
Hendrix is one of the better academic schools in the state.
