I believe people can listen to the broadcast from UF's home website. It appears Army's needs a subscription.

Junior is pretty jacked. He's been throwing well lately, we'll see how his arm stacks up against a nationally ranked SEC program.

Dad is just a little amped himself...*Thinking that last jug of coffee wasn't really necessary.

Best of luck to your son. In our office, we have a good guy who is a UF graduate. Alas, when he talks about the Gators, he ceases to be a good guy. Thus, I will be rooting hard for Army for several reasons.

Younggunson played high school ball with Joey Henshaw on Army's team. I think 3rd Team All-American last year as a Sophomore for Army.

You know, it probably didn't go the way CPLZ wanted but still a pretty decent outing imho. That's baseball. Sometimes you eat the bear and sometimes the bear eats you. The good ones are never afraid of the consequences and always ready to get'em the next time. No doubt young Mr. Porter will get'em the next time!

Thanks everyone...wild to start but settled in...only gave up 1 hit through 5 and then three balls that are routine outs get lost in the lights in the 6th and The Gators plate 3...not bad though, only gave up a total of 4 hits through 5 IP on 80 pitches.

He and the coach wound up having the most heated discussion I have ever seen on a mound in the 5th...I thought they were going to start swinging. It was bizzare. Coach sprinted from the dugout and ran up into Juniors face screaming...Junior didn't take it well...

Once he settled down he did a good job holding down a tough hitting gator team. Too bad about losing it in the lights, those type of things just are game killers for pitchers.

Saw CPLZ's son in Winston-Salem in February. Very talented pitcher - no surprise he can get it done against a Florida.

Oh well...probably not much...coach is intense. Wish mine could have helped Kirk out a little, but after swinging it well apparently decided to watch a few pitches go by just for old times sake.
(watching on the computer is a little tougher on dad )
