just thought i would let everyone know that it is not just pro players "stepping up" and helping katrina victims...the UAB baseball team (and I am sure there are many other college teams that have done the same) earned and donated somewhere in the vicinity of $1500.00 to the relief effort...my son donated several cases of water himself...it wasn't much...but i was Very Proud of him...

I am proud of my son and his UCLA teammates for raising a nice sum of money for the relief fund.
