Atlantic Coast Baseball Fall Registration Deadline

Director of Baseball Operations Jason Newsham announced the registration deadline for the Atlantic Coast Baseball Fall Wood Bat league is August 19th.

Here are a few of the highlights of the ACB Fall League:

16 game guarantee
$1,500 team fee
Umpires & balls included in team fee!
$10 player fee
Quality Competition each weekend
Double-header on Saturday and single game on Sunday
8 Away games within close proximity
All player information will be included in the packet that will be sent to all colleges within the region as well as professional scouts.
Batting & Pitching statistics kept on each team by league office
Player and Pitcher of Week Honor
Pro and College Scout Page Online
NO FRANCHISE FEE FOR FALL SEASON

We have 3 teams registered, Oxford (NC), Salisbury (NC), and north of Charlotte (NC). We have several other teams in the waiting mode trying to make sure we have enough teams signed up before they commit.

I will be in the Virginia Beach area this weekend meeting with three teams interested. We only want 8-14 teams for our fall league. We want experienced and elite teams.

Our meeting in Va. Beach was only with one prospective owner and they had more interest in the summer league rather than the fall. Our fall league may not take place because some of the teams that have signed up arent as competitive as we need them to be.

Lets face it, we have promised nothing but the best since we started operations and we will not give anything less than that. The league officials are selecting 12 teams for next summer to ensure our leagues competitiveness. We will have 2-3 teams in the Tidewater area. There are already teams that have been together for a while that we are targeting as well as 26 other teams. We will begin meeting with some of these team staffs and narrowing our choices down.
