The last time I checked, Duke or Wake Forest arent looking for a kid who throws 82 mph with a good curve...so what are some good colleges along the atlantic coast? I'm a junior so theres no telling how fast I'll be throwing senior year but just in case i dont get up to the high 80s
And does anyone know anything about Florida so.

Look at any of the Colonial Athletic conference schools. They are all different and offer fine educations. There are many good programs in the CAA as well. The CAA consists of:
William & Mary
UNC-Wilmington
Old Dominion
Virginia Commonwealth
James Madison
Delaware
Towson
Hofstra
George Mason
in another year the conference will also add
Northeastern and Georgia State.
While the schools that VaDad listed are D-1 and have some fine academic attributes, and the baseball skills being played are top notch, you may want to consider bringing that hook of yours to some very good D-3 schools. Hampden-Sydney would be my favorite, go TIGERS, but you can't go wrong with this list.

Va Wesleyan
Christopher Newport
Mary Washington
Lynchburg
Salisbury
Ferrum
Methodist

All of the schools yr in and yr out are ranked in the polls. They come from the Capital Athletic Conference, USA South Athletic Conference and the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. While all these schools are noted for the academics the baseball played at these institutions are very competitive and played with a lot of heart. All have a great web page for you to visit.

Oh by the way, that 82 mph fast ball of yours. That could probably get you into any school if you can paint the corners day in & day out.

Good luck and make sure you work hard on your gpa scores during your jr yr. It is your most important time in your career.

FYI, On your web site go to NCAA baseball.com, once you're in you will see listed information on D1, DII & DIII. This gives you every institution, their location and web page. Every school just a finger touch away.

jumpin,
CNU is one of the best college buys in Virginia. It is a fine school with great facilities. The Baseball program has been very successful lately. Don't rule out any of the others in Virginia either. You have some great choices.
Work hard in both the classroom and the gym and you will have many options. Good luck!
