We are now in our 10th day of traveling and playing the State Teams of Western Australia and South Australia. Our four teams have now played 28 games in the 95 degree weather.

Yesterday our Combo team Rays and Cubs played the SA professional and World Cup players.
Final score was 4 for SA and 2 of USA.
Cole Swanson of Torry Pines, California and Steve Burnham of Tampa pitched "great".
Todd McKelvie of Temecula, California hit a HR.

We have daily reports on our web site <www.goodwillseries.org>
Our coahes pro scouts are teaching the game daily with good results.

Several players continue to impress. Bryce Harrison 6'2 Junior player from Walnut California has played
catcher, pitcher and yesterday at shortstop.
Allen Baldwin from Hawaii has played OF and catcher and is the leading hitter.

It is an enjoyment to observe the Rays team play everyday. Hector Montes, 240 lb. a 1b from Chula Vista is our #4 hitter.

I will reach 104 degrees today the 30 Dec in Adelaide.

"Greatest game"

On the 30th of December in Adelaide, South Australia,Rob Williams, my son and coach of the Rays Scout team commented that this was the "best game" of our 15 years playing in the land "down under".

The was the final game of our 2 week and 40 game tour. Our Goodwill Series teams have played in Australia for 15 years.

Cole Swanson, LHP from Torrey Pines, California
and Jackson Lodge, LHP from South Australia State team "hook up" in a pitchers duel.

Cole pitched 5 innings of "no hit" baseball and Jackson pitched 7 innings of one hit baseball. Final score was 1-0. Won by SA in the 7th inning.

The temperature on the field was 104º.

In our opinion, both pitchers will meet again the
professional baseball.
