Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see the guidelines they will use.
105 max pitches for varsity; 95 for JV or freshman. Didn't see how many days rest required, though.
Actually, it didn't say that. It reads only:
"According to Major League Baseball’s pitching guidelines freshmen and sophomores playing for the junior varsity teams are only allowed to pitch a maximum of 95 pitches per game while juniors and seniors playing in the varsity have a limit of 105 pitches per game."
It looks like the site just went and grabbed the Pitch Smart guidelines.
Pitch count rules will most likely be nationwide for high school pitchers within the next 5 years.
