Righthander Kyle Drabek, the Philadelphia Phillies'
first-round
draft pick in 2006 from The Woodlands, will have season-ending
reconstructive elbow surgery on Wednesday.
Drabek, 19, is the son of 1990 NL Cy Young Award winner Doug Drabek.
He was
5-1 with a 4.33 ERA in 11 games, including 10 starts, for the Class A
Lakewood BlueClaws.
The surgery will be performed in New York by Mets physician David
