While you guys were in the nice cozy comforts of your house, I was out in the cold throwing sand on ice at several of the properties I manage for my job. Lot's of fun!!

Interesting comment on TV this morning. They were asking people about the accidents this morning. One brilliant guy blamed it on all the people that moved here from the north. He said that the ice in the north is different than our ice and the northern people do not know how to drive on it.

Nobody can drive on Texas ice. With temp's around 32 F, there will be a thin layer of water on the ice. And that means no traction.

Yankees often think about the ice covered with snow that they see back home. Snow you can drive on. Not Texas ice.

When the temps up north are well below freezing, there won't be the thin layer of water on the ice. So it may be possible to get some traction on that Yankee ice. Not Texas ice.

Slows down getting ready for the season

It seems to me that only people in white pick up trucks think they can drive on ice. The rest of the population seems to understand that driving on ice is insane.

Did you recently move to Arlington or have you lived there awhile, I too am an Arlington guy, both of my sons went/go to Arlington Seguin, one graduated last year and other is a sophomore. Just curious
