Bad Weather Question

Not sure it makes that much of a difference in baseball. But I would think it would favor the superior team, as wet grass and balls should highlight defensive weaknesses, if present.

Cold weather is clearly advantage pitchers/defense. Wet weather seems to me to be advantage hitters due to lack of pitchers footing and wet baseballs for the defense to throw. Cold & wet weather, advantage fireplace!

More blowouts in bad weather.

It may be an advantage to the offensively strong teams. If they can get some "O" going they get the blood pumping and "freeze" the defense. Everybody but the pitcher and catcher are cold.

For sure, an advantage to the team that is stronger mentally. Games are more typically dominated by those who can focus on playing ball.
