Opposing pitcher today , with runner on 3rd, goes into his wind-up. During wind-up, my player steps out of the batter's box. Time is not called by either ump. Pitcher goes to release ball and sees batter has stepped out, and he simply stops and never released the ball. I call for the balk, and I am told batter was not in the box, so there was no pitch so therefore no balk. Is not the ball still live? I never could get a solid answer on this play. We ended up winning big, but what is the call here?

Nothing.

Instruct your F1 to throw the ballnext time and if I'm calling and its anywhere near the zone, I have a strike.
