Are bamboo bats allowed in WWBA tournaments like the one going on at East Cobb? I assume so but we all know what "assume" actually means.....

14. Bat Specifications: For WWBA, wood bats must be used. Composite bats cannot have any metal.
I think that means bamboo bats are OK.

Yeah, I read the same rule and ASSUME the same exact thing as you do. Just hate leaving anything to interpretation. My son used his ash bat yesterday at East Cobb but wants to use his Mizuno bamboo for the rest of the tournament.

Son and teammates have been using bamboo with no problems at 18U tourney this week.
