Beware!! You are under attack!! You need to address this with the school board ASAP. I would call an emergency meeting today! BESS is a destructive program that was designed by a group of ex-NCAA officials with strong ties to the Inner-city Basketball Movement and the European S o c c e r union. The initials, BESS, stand for (B)aseball (E)xtermination (S)ecurity (S)oftware. This is a little known security program that is undermining the game of baseball every where. There are different levels of the software with some being more destructive than others. It is claimed that version 11.7 is the most destructive.

We used to have Bess. It was a pain and so, our administration got rid of it. It seemed to block a large number of educational sites and we (the teachers) had to continually ask the tech people to allow the various urls. If you know the tech people from your district, they can type in the site's url and allow the site to be viewed.

They banned our local forum.....Oh well, at least they let me go nation wide.

How times have changed.

Bess was the milking cow years ago.

Now she's the Network Security Officer.

Maybe they will ban work at my work.

And think about it, is there really anyone at school that could do that on purpose?

Dukesmom, I think you should go out on sick leave. File a workers comp claim for emotional distress. Tell them you're emotionally scarred for having your vice taken away!

We are not allowed to use our work computers to acees ANY internet site for personal use - even on our breaks.

That's what the Union is for. Our district would never be able to pass that off on us!!

Heck, just have a "commission only" job like I do. They don't really care what I do on my computer at work, as long as I produce. Now that the summer baseball season has been over for awhile, I actually am producing too. But, next summer is a comin.
