base runner/ fielder collision

This happened a few years back while I was playing PONY baseball as a 14 year old. I was playing shortstop and there were runners at 1 & 2. Batter hits a slow ground ball that had me charging the ball hard and I collide with the runner. Neither one of us were intentionally trying to hit the other. Just curious as to what the call is. To be honest I can't even remember what the umpire ruled but I know everyone I ask has a different opinion.

there is no question here.... the runner has to give way to the fielder....that runner interfered with your opportunity to field a batted ball...

PIAA is exactly right, dead ball, runner is out and BR gets first. There should be no reason for differing opinions, it's straight up interference.
