Baseball America Prospect Plus

Just wondering how you get added and graded into that system. Is there like a showcase or tryout you have to attend?

BA does not conduct showcases like PG does. Originally Prospect Plus was a joint venture between PG and BA, but there was a "business divorce" there that ended with BA founder Allan Simpson actually moving over to PG. BA turned to Baseball Factory and possibly others to try to build a database of its own. But I suspect they rely a lot on word of mouth and other less precise sources of information, including simply reading PG's reports and using PG's lists as checklists to avoid overlooking top prospects.

I quit subscribing to Prospects Plus because I just don't think it's a very good database.
