Baseball America's Preseason Top 50

Westfield will play American Heritage HS (ranked #4) in the Orlando Classic first round game on 3/17. There are 9 other NOVA teams, including Chantilly, Woodson, Madison, West Springfield, Centreville in this tourney so potentially more than 1 will face American Heritage. Madison is in the other side of the bracket, so if they make the finals, and AH wins out, then this would be an interesting Virginia vs Florida final.

Madison has to worry about getting out of the first round. Although they're playing a team from Connecticut, they have a guy signed to play at Clemson and a pitcher signed to Vandy. Should be a good one.

The only problem is, I think they may have gotten the rankings on those two teams reversed!

although the rankings between these two teams might be differant towards the middle or end of the season; as of right now they are correct. Cosby has not proven everything yet-, they made it to regionals last year, but james river won states and have their 2 pitchers returning..

Spartan81, is there a bracket out for the tournament? I think our coach said we're (C'ville) playing the host team under the lights on the first day.
