Baseball and Student Teaching

My son is a junior in college and a baseball player. He plans to become a coach. He is on schedule to graduate in four years, but that would mean his student teaching semester would be during baseball season. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how was it worked out? He really doesn't want to give up playing his last year of baseball, but he also doesn't want to go an extra semester of school.

Yes, this happens. The coach usually works around it. Most of the time, the school that you are student teaching at will understand if you have to miss some

Can he student teach during his Sr year fall vs the spring? Waaaaaaaay back when I did my Student teaching I did it in the Fall so I could coach Football at the HS level and then went back to school in the Spring to finish up...
