I know there is already a whole baseball camp section, but no one really seems to get on it. anyway, I'm going to be a junior this year in high school and I have been wondering about college baseball camps. should i attend camps of teams I'm interested in? also, at this point in high school and select, what should I be doing to help get nopticed? I've had coaches tell me that I am a definite D1 player without going JUCO or anything else, but I just don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

G-owls11, First take what the coaches say with a grain of salt. Plus being noticed by JUCO is not a bad thing. Several D1 schools bring in JUCO players.
Secondly - It does not hurt to go to these camps. It puts you in front of the coaches, where as they may never see you in select or HS baseball. You may also want to think about sending coaches information about you and your interest in attending that school. Include information about the position you play, the school team, your select team and a schedule of the tournaments your team will be playing in. They may have a scout in that area that they may send to watch you. You have to be able to start communicating with them to show your interest as well. It is easier to recruit a kid that wants to go to your program than one that is just iffy. Just my opinion.
