Hey everyone,
I am looking to purchase a Baseball Net. I would like one I could take into my shop, and hit into, and then also take into the back lot behind my house and practice throwing into, and work on making more accurate throws from third.

Anyone have anysuggestions they'd like to make?

I would prefer it be under $250.

I can tell you from experience nothing built with PVC lasts very long. One good shot and it's toast.

Actually, call me thrifty, but why not just grab some PVC, or 2X4s, build a frame and hang a blanket over it. Does the same thing and you probably already have all the parts around the garage or basement?
Baller4174,

I bought a "pocket screen" off of Ebay for $99 a bunch of years ago. It is very similiar to this one...Pocket Screen

It has lasted through 3 pitchers and hitters over the last 7-8 years. It sits at the top of our driveway for tee work and throwing year round. When it gets cold my kids bring it into the garage for more tee work.

If you aren't in a rush, there will be some deals to be had. Good luck.

Wow,
that is exactly what I had in mind! Something I could not only use tee work with, but also throw into and practice throws from third base. Thanks so much, this is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for! Smile:
