I did the same for my 2018, just to get an idea of what is out there, how these things work, it wasn't too expensive, and to see how 2018 would react under a little pressure.  Didn't really know much about UABF at the time, just that their website was fairly impressive.  Have learned a lot about them since.  My question would be the same as SPYvSPY.

JP (2016) did this just for fun last weekend. He's done PG Showcase, so we know what the gold standard is.

Our take: Their objective feedback is accurate:

- 60-yard time

- throwing velocity (although I wonder if their method ... throwing into a net 40-50 feet away, is the right way to go, rather than have fielders throw from their positions)

Their subjective analyses -- hitting and fielding -- were good in JP's case as well. No disagreements with what others have observed. Not sure about pitchers.

So if someone wants a cheap, pretty good analysis, I think it's fine. Only $99.

As to how well regarded their evals are ...  you said you're not interested in getting into the merits of the program, but I think the merits of the program drive how well regarded their evals are by colleges.

And there's a lot on HSBBW on that already.

Thanks for the feedback, JP24. Not too concerned about how a college would regard the eval - just wondering if I should take it at face value. Thanks!
