Below is what I posted in an earlier topic. The most importantant statement I make (to me) is : ONLY BASEBALL PLAYERS WILL REMAIN. Different "styles" of coaching can accomplish weeding out any student athlete who just wants another letter, who's daddy is the mayor, who's mommy is a family friend, etc. I just like to watch games where EVERY PLAYER who gets to step out on the field RESPECTS the game and APPRECIATES the opportunity.
"His "style" may not be what some kids & parents need or want ... BUT it will rid the program of lazy players and all the prima donna's. Only baseball players will remain. IMO, every High School baseball game should be played to win ... whether you've secured a playoff spot or lost every game! Respect for the game is not something every player is taught these days."
