I used Turbostats for years when my son was little (10-14) to score games. There is definitely a learning curve, best to start with some TV games before you go live. You also must fully commit, no geting up to go to the bathroom or getting a hotdog while the games going. Once you download the data to the computer, the software gives you a tremendous amount of statistical data and comparisons. It is a job, but it was worth it to me, I was helping coach and we had real time pitch counts, spray charts on the other team, etc. Again, you must fully commit, because in my opinion if the stats aren't complete they're worthless.
