Does anyone know how that compares to the heads of the NBA and NFL? It's a shockingly high figure...I'm guessing it's many times higher than either the NBA or the NFL.

I hereby offer MLB to do the same or better job at only a fraction of the cost.

While this is not a reflection of the job I think he's doing I don't see a problem with it. When you consider the entire worth of MLB he is actually not getting paid much. He is in charge of the national pasttime. It's his job to ensure the future prosperity of the game of baseball.

Like I said - this is not a post supporting the job he has done. I'm just saying the pay he gets is not that bad overall for the job he has.
