Stan and I have received several PMs about the exchanges of late. The main purpose of this board is to help coaches and parents understand the rules the whys of the way they are enforced. A secondary purpose is to help umpires improve their craft.
What this board is not about is bashing pro umpires, or umpires in general. I am not saying the debate on a subject can't be lively but direct bashing of fellow posters are unwelcome.
PIAA and I have always tried to be as hands off as much as possible but we will be faster to shut threads down if they degenerate into name calling and other unproductive behavior.
Offenders will be PMed, not called out in public. If any feel that a thread needs looking at feel free to PM PIAA or myself.
