I would have to respectfully disagree with Texan on one point. A bat may have one of two types of weight distribution, end loaded and evenly distributed. I have seen kids that could mash with a LS and struggle with an Easton and vice versa. The main difference is how the weight is distributed. Most Easton are end loaded. He does make a good point on the warranty. Haven't had a bat yet make its one year anniversary and I have bought LS, Easton, and Worth products.
My son has tried several different bats over the past few years and he keeps coming back to the TPX Omaha Scandium XS as his favorite. Just something about the weight distribution that he likes and feels most 'natural' to his own preferences.

I'm not saying it's the best bat out there ... just one that's become like an "old friend" to him.

His least favorite bat? the TPX Armor ... didn't like it at all ... different weight distribution, not alot of pop, strange sounding Smile. I don't know if the ceramic coating dampens the trampoline effect or not ... it just didn't seem to have the same carry with the ball. Maybe it's all 'mental' ... but the Armor sounds 'dead' out of the box because the ceramic coating does dampen the 'ping' sound.

My personal preference is the Liquid Metal. Might just be mental but the ping it makes causes me to think it has more pop.
