Bat recommendations

My son is currently using an Omaha bat but needs a new one since this one is losing its pop. He wants a Miken Burn but I am worried about the composites breaking. He is also considering the Rawlings Plasma Gold.
I would appreciate any recommendations on bats to look at. He is not a power hitter but has been able to maintain a respectable OBP the last few seasons.

No one can select a bat for your son, but your son. A bat is a personal choice. As for Liquid Metals, I've seen several -3's break including my son's.
