Bat requirements for Babe Ruth league | High School Baseball Web

My sister's 13 year old son will be playing Babe Ruth this year. He has to have his own bat and although I can figure out the appropriate length for him we aren't sure what requirements Babe Ruth has.

A few questions I have...

1) What diamater is acceptable (i.e. 2 1/4, 2 3/4, 2 5/8)?

2) Which diamater do you suggest?

3) Is there a weight requirement (i.e. -8.5oz, -3oz)?

Any other help you can provide would be appreciated.

When choosing a bat u have to find a weight and lenght that is comfortable and is easyly handled. BatSPEED is everything

FlippJ...he'll want a big barrell (2 3/4") -8 or so (varies a little by bat). Your length chart should work fine as it pretty closely parallels the TPX chart.
