What are you going to do?
I have the three lists AND I will bring them to the games!

FED place responsibility for bats with the umpire. My association has accepted.

I have a list of approved bats. No since carrying a list of unapproved...if it isn't on the list of approved...it isn't approved.

Missouri has decided to put the job on the coach to verify his bats are legal. He's to print the lists by manufacturer and highlight the bats that are being used by his team. When the umpires check bats, the bats needing to be verified should already be highlighted.

Now that's smart. IMO, we need to put the liability on the coaches. I do not want that liability. I do it, and accurately ... but I don't like checking bats. I dont mind checking for unsafe properties; but legal or not from a mfr? I'd rather vomit.

I thought that was a composite only issue and we don't have any composites.

As long as the metal is aluminum, they don't have to be checked. The bats that are being checked are BESR bats with any metal other than aluminum.
