from your post we already have 1 out........Now after the play we have 2 more outs. One on the strikeout and one on the interference plus one already recorded is 3 outs side retired.

NFHS rule 7 Section 3 Article 5 (C)

A batter shall not:

Art 5...Interfere with the catchers fielding or throwing by:

C: making any movement which hinders actions at home plate or the catchers attempt to play on a runner.

Penalty- Condensed....
If the pitch is a third strike and in the umpires judgement interference prevented a possible double play, two player may be ruled out.
