CHFIRE, I'm sure there are others, but we usually go to either the Bulls/Sox Academy in Lisle (I think they are opening a new one in La Grange in January) or At Bats on 63rd St in Downers Grove.

If you live in Clarendon Hills, I suggest the new Bulls Sox Academy in LaGrange, Strikes in Broadview is also nearby.
Stella's Batting Cages in Lyons on Ogden Avenue, slightly east of First Avenue.
They also have a restaurant area with great "hot dog stand"-type food....

Actually, the new cage in Joliet is called Slam Baseball & Fastpitch Academy, but we do have open hitting and cage rental as well.
Slam is near JJC (click the logo to the right side of this forum for a map). We have three cages (one Iron Mike machine throwing real leather balls and several ATEC machines that throw rubber balls). For more info, call (815) 725-SLAM or check out www.slambaseballclub.com.
